- 300 g penne, spaghetti or dried pasta
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 4 slices of lean back bacon (or use strips), cut into pieces
- 1 bunch onions, trimmed and finely chopped
- 150 g Low-fat cream cheese with garlic and herbs
- 1 large egg
- 150 ml of 1% milk fat
- 40 g low-fat cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley (optional)
- Ground black pepper
HOW TO MAKE IT ?!
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan 8-12 minutes, depending on the package instructions and add the pasta or noodles and boil.
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan. Add the bacon and onions and, stirring frequently, cook for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Put cheese in a bowl and whisk together eggs, bacon and add the onions. Then add milk, and half of the cheese and parsley. Sprinkle with a little ‘pepper.
Pour pasta and pot. Stirring until mixture thickens and boils, add the egg mixture and heat over on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Serve remaining cheese on top.
